Blackout's drapes provided the backdrop for GHD's European promotional tour in October. Working with Mark Bonner at Delta Sound, Blackout provided black voile drapes and solenoid kabukis* to reveal the stage and back wall during performances.
The set was created by designer Misty Buckley in a black and sexy burlesque style.
Ten dancers took to the stage in a dance and promotional show choreographed by Kim Gavin of Take That.
The tour took them, and Blackout's gear, to the Opera House in Florence, the Tiatro Calderon in Madrid and the Copenhagen's major concert venue, Vega.
GHD are one of the UK's leading suppliers of hair straighteners and other hair products.
*Kabukis are devices, either mechanical or electronic, that allow the release of, say, a drape secured from above the stage at a given moment during an event or show.
