Rigging Manager
This role is to manage the rigging department within the Warehouse at Blackout. Overseeing the stock which includes 3km of Prolyte/ Thomas/ Slik truss; over 250 liftket/ loadstar/ prostar motors; kineysis; PA delay masts; ground support systems and ancillary equipment.

Work Activities
• Managing a small team including a Supervisor / Technician and Warehouse Assistant
• Liaising with Warehouse Manager
• Preparing items for hire and for installation according to job sheets
• Checking the installations job sheet, and questioning any omissions
• Ensuring stocks are stored in logical and safe manner
• Working with Project Managers for specific job requirements
• Pre-checking of all equipment
• Knowledge of slinging, lifting, suspension and de-rigging of production elements
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects

Knowledge
• Knowledge of entertainment rigging equipment and techniques
• Understanding of the production process and schedule
• Health and safety and lifting legislation
• Understanding of sector terminology and methodology
• Aware of protocols for event arrangements
