This popular reveal effect was successfully used in the Millennium Dome opening on 31st December 1999. This same system is available to hire in modular units, which can be assembled to any desired length and operated via single or multiple controls.
There are three systems available for rental.

Manual
|
An aluminium barrel with 50mm spikes on loose collars which can be spaced as required to support the cloth via eyelets. The barrel is suspended from a truss or similar by C clamps. A Tee piece at one end with 2 descending cords is the mode of retention and activation.

Motorised
|
As the manual system but with an in-line motor for activation. Power is supplied by 16amp cee form and multiple systems can can be controlled individually or grouped from one controller, with the additional advantage of being able to respond to DMX data.

Solenoids
|
These are individual solenoid activated units which clamp to a bar or truss by half coupler. Power and control is daisy chained using AMP connectors to IP65 protection (highly weatherproof) and can be fired by go button on the controller or via DMX. This system is particularly useful for curved applications. See pdf
